I have a new job teaching English to adult immigrants, and, in just about a week, these dear people have captured my soul. They are tenacious, courageous, funny and kind. Here is my prayer for them.

Thank you so much for sharing that! Our church has an ESL program and a number of immigrants, and I have enjoyed the short time I’ve worked with the few people I have. I shared this with our director, I know she’ll appreciate it as well.

I JUST saw your reply. I shared the prayer with her and she read it last night to all of us before class. Then we were talking afterwards and I mentioned you used to worked at Taylor and she said “Jody!” 🙂 I’ll pass on your “hi” as well.
